Come prepared to slowly move through a Kripalu style meditative movement experience that incorporates soothing breath work, and then explore one of the most accessible forms of yoga, Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra. Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra is an ancient and powerful guided meditation technique adapted for the modern student.
As you lie down for 45-minutes of Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra, accompanied by singing bowls, it may feel at times as if you are sleeping, but studies have shown your consciousness is actually functioning at a deeper level of awareness, allowing you the opportunity to deeply relax, restore and heal. In fact, ‘yoga nidra,’ translated to “yogic sleep,” is far from taking a nap. Yoga nidra is effective, powerful and highly sought after for its profound healing and stress reduction abilities. Leave this workshop feeling more calm, clear and relaxed.
Please bring: a yoga mat, blanket and a pillow if you’d like. Wear comfortable clothing to practice movement and wear layers to keep warm.
